Aya and Rafif come to their school this morning to celebrate Indonesia Independence Day. They dressed in red and white. Ahem, mind that Liverpool jersey Rafif put on. That's the reddest shirt he has ;-)
After completion of the games, the kids have their own ritual: gift-exchange. Not big in value, but priceless in their heart.
The annual AKRUD Games was held today. This is my mother's big family ritual every year to celebrate Indonesian Independence day. We have mini olympic games featuring some popular sports and Indonesian traditional games. My family fared quite well this year, claiming third position. Not bad, as last year we collected zero medal;-)
When you're in Hong Kong and want to visit The Peak, I would recommend you to take the tram. It's a unique experience with scenic view along the way.
A landscape view of Hong Kong island, as seen from The Peak, one of the most popular tourist destination there.
Had a chance to meet Tanya, my office colleague who is currently on secondment in HK. We have a drink with some of her friends here at Lan Kwai Fong, Central HK.
Picture of Hong Kong at night: busy streets full of neon lights. Like this one in Tsim Sha Tsui at Kowloon.
HK escalator rule is: when you're not on the rush, better stay at right 'lane'. Otherwise those look-so-busy-people will charge you out of their 'way' :-)
I witnessed beautiful sunset from the window of my flight to Hong Kong today. The golden ray of sun meets the cloudy blue sky. Looks so impressive. This pic doesn't do a justice. Took several pictures of it as well on my Nikon.
A view from 27th floor JSX Building shows how heavilly polluted Jakarta is.
I joined my office's golf competition today at Kemayoran hole course. At the first few holes you can see the symbol of Indonesia's property crash in the late 90s. Number of abandoned apartments are seen in hole course surroundings.
Yes it is historic for Bona, as this is the first Copa for him as the official member of Kresnadi family. Oh I dont need to say that I lost again. Mas Oyi and his Milan claimed his 5th title! Tied me on the top of leaderboard! Gotta win next time! ;-)
Yesterday we had gala premiere of Chita and Bona wedding video at Alea (my house), after it had been edited by Mas Oyi. It was great and hilarious. We all had fun watching it.
A musician from Ecuador plays his flute in Pondok Indah Mall 1 today. Playing number of classic love songs, the sound of his flute is so smooth and bring relaxing mood on the ears. He sells his CDs as well, which are quite good.
My long term affair with Palm OS has came to an end recently. I sold my Treo and bought myself a Samsung smartphone i 780. Now I follow Uncle Bill's dark side ;-)
